Salah derided the Premier League's ruling on Twitter and was backed up by several of his Liverpool teammates.

Harry Kane is looking to overtake Mohamed Salah for the Golden Boot.

The Premier League did later change the goal to Kane's, allowing the Spurs striker to move within four of the Reds winger.

Salah is on course to be crowned this season's Premier League top scorer after taking his tally to 30 goals in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

In that time Spurs have all-but booked their Champions League spot for a third successive season and they could pour more misery on a faltering City side. Of course I can not lie - it is in my mind.

"Yeah, he told me he's going to claim all of them", Henderson said in an interview with BT Sport.

Sydney bushfire downgraded to 'Advice' level
The fire had threatened homes in south-west Sydney on Saturday. "Still quite a hard day ahead (on Monday)", he told Nine Network . Conditions are expected to aid the firefighting effort on Monday, with winds about half the strength they were on Sunday.

"I don't care who scored the goal, I care about the three points". "We have the Premier League and semi-finals of the Champions League to play".

Tottenham fans took to Twitter to criticise Harry Kane for his performance, or lack thereof, against Manchester City on Saturday.

Kane now trails Salah by five goals with five league games left to play, and will hope to decrease the deficit against Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday (AEST).

After Christian Eriksen's free-kick found the back of the net in a 2-1 win away to Stoke City last weekend, the goal was officially awarded to Kane midweek after the league's Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel adjudged Kane to have taken the final touch. "That can't be H's main focus, we are a team and we have got to play together and if he does it he does it and we will all be happy for him, but I don't think we are going to focus too much on it".

"But you know, you can see [against Bournemouth] with the team everyone tries to pass the ball to me to help me".

"Of course he never thought that this situation was going to go on to such big things when he was so, so, so, so certain that he touched the ball", the Argentinian added.
