Unlike the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, Sega Ages titles won't be released in a physical compilation. The section about the Pokemon Nintendo Switch game suggests that the upcoming game will feature brand new generation eight Pokemon. The good news for Sega is that nostalgia is still big these days, so fans are sure to be excited to hear that several classic Sega games will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch soon.

Developed by M2, the Japanese developer known for high-quality ports of classic games such as the popular Sega 3D Classics series on the Nintendo 3DS, Sega Ages aims to bring prominent titles from Sega's legacy catalog to fans around the world. Now we just need to wait for E3 to roll around so Sega can provide us with a release schedule, as well as when Saturn, Dreamcast and arcade games will start rolling in.

So far, Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star, Thunder Force IV, Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Gain Ground for Switch have been confirmed this summer, although they have not given details of the format or the price.
