George HW Bush Out Of Intensive Care Unit After Blood Infection

This past week has been beyond terrible for George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States.

Bush was admitted to the hospital on Sunday. In a tweet, Bush also thanked everyone who helped with the public visitation and private funeral for the former first lady.

The Warriors lead the National Basketball Association with 7.3 blocks per game while the Spurs are fifth with 5.5 blocks per game. Klay Thompson , who had been shooting over 60 percent in the series, also cooled off significantly as he went a mere 4-of-16.

"President Bush naturally thanks everyone for their prayers and good wishes", the statement reads in part.

The source added that Bush's blood pressure kept dropping and a couple of times there was serious concern about whether he was going to come through, but that he had been stabilized.

Bush, who suffers from Parkinson's disease and is wheelchair-bound, has been hospitalized on several occasions in recent years.

McGrath did not go into detail about George H.W. Bush's exact condition earlier this week, simply stating on Monday night that he will continue giving updates as needed. Hopefully, he'll continue to recover sufficiently to get home soon and that he'll be able to spend the summer in ME as he has done for almost all of his life.
