Sony chose to offer up Beyond: Two Souls as a way to celebrate the upcoming release of the Quantic Dream title, Detroit: Become Human. May will offer up the usual total of six games spread across PS4, PS3, and Vita.
Golden Week is just around the corner in Japan and Sony Interactive Entertainment is in on the festivities with a massive sale on Japanese PS4, PS3, and PS Vita titles through May 8, 2018. And if you have no idea what Detroit: Become Human is, I recommend downloading Beyond: Two Souls anyway because it is a fantastic - and definitely emotional - game.
The games will be available to download in early May to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Following a middling April featuring Mad Max and TrackMania Turbo, May will see Sony pick things up in May with Quantic Dream's Beyond: Two Souls and the rhythm-infused 2D platforming extravaganza, Rayman Legends.
Cavaliers looks to take lead over Pacers
LeBron James closed out Game 5 against the Indiana Pacers with an epic sequence that only further demonstrates his greatness. However, his absence for a crucial Game 5 takes another potential scorer and veteran presence out of Cleveland's lineup.
But it's the titles meant for the PS4 that are grabbing all the attention. However, the game isn't included on the PS Plus' free games list for PS4 in May.
Also available will be Ubisoft's excellent Rayman Legends and King Oddball as a Cross-Buy title. On top of the solid platforming action, the games were also known for their inclusion of 4 player co-op, meaning this is one you'll be able play with friends and family. That time has finally come, it appears, as the May lineup isn't quite as enticing as previous months, though there are a few games worth adding to your collection if you haven't played them before. Eat Them!, on the other hand is a classic arcade style smash-em up in the vein of Rampage.
