Giuliani says Trump 'wasn't aware' of Cohen pitch promising access

Trump's attorney suspected of receiving $500k from Russian oligarch Vekselberg

Another shoe drops in the Russia 'Witch Hunt': Donald Trump's lawyer in the spotlight again, this time over payments

Owens said Columbus Nova was exclusively owned by Americans and that any claim that Vekselberg was involved in providing funding for the payments to Cohen was "patently untrue". Therefore, any communications with Cohen, in his role as the sole member or manager of Essential Consultants, is not protected by the attorney/client privilege.

It reported that the documents showed the company turned to Cohen three days after Trump was elected, seeking his help on a wide range of issues pending before the federal government. The one-year contract at $50,000 per month, from January through December 2017, was limited to consulting and advisory services, according to the memo.

Among the companies reportedly vying for insight into the mercurial Trump administration were a Korean defense company competing for a us military contract as well as Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis, which reportedly paid Cohen $1.2 million for better understanding of the Trump administration's approach to health care policy.

The Trump administration opposed the AT&T effort, and the Department of Justice filed suit to block the merger in November previous year.

In fact, it was Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti, who first brought to light Cohen's deals with various corporate clients.

Cohen's specific contractual obligations, according to the internal AT&T document, lay out that he was hired to 'focus on specific long-term planning initiatives as well as the immediate issue of corporate tax reform and the acquisition of Time Warner'.

No evidence of shooting at elementary school
Shots were first reported at about 7 a.m. local time, which is a half hour before school was set to begin, officials said. Palmdale, a city of about 150,000 people, is about 40 miles north of downtown L.A.in the high desert Antelope Valley.

AT&T paid Cohen at a time when it was pursuing a merger with Time Warner, which required administration approval.

Cohen was also paid $1.2million by the pharmaceutical company Novartis. He also hasn't said how he got them.

A former campaign aide to President Donald Trump made a provocative comment Thursday afternoon on MSNBC - suggesting that Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen or the president himself may be in substantial legal trouble following recent revelations.

Novartis said this week that it had provided information about its dealings with Cohen to the special counsel. Part of that time would be spent on "legislative policy development" and "regulatory policy development".

Cohen is also under investigation by prosecutors in NY for possible bank fraud and campaign finance violations.
