It's primary season in Pennsylvania once again.

Republicans and Democrats would continue to vote in primaries of the parties in which they are registered.

One of Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate seats is up for election this year.

Nevertheless, voters of that party (like Republicans) have the right to make write-in picks when they cast their ballots, negating the flimsy excuse that their votes won't make a difference.

Lieutenant Governor: There are five Democrats running for the job, including Democratic incumbent Mike Stack.

While Wolf is running unopposed for re-election, the same can not be said for Lt. Gov. Mike Stack, who landed in hot water after reports emerged that he had mistreated state workers. They must be delivered to an official county drop site.

Two Republicans are running for the chance to challenge Casey: U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta of Luzerne County and state Rep. Jim Christiana of Beaver County. All three are high-profile races, especially the one to replace Blake Farenthold, who resigned as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives on April 6.

Republicans are increasingly relying on the president to help protect the GOP's slim 51-49 majority in the Senate this fall. Pat Meehan and Ryan Costello, are not seeking reelection in districts that would have been competitive even without the new maps.

By comparison, the 5th District race is genteel as candidates seek endorsements to separate themselves from the pack and Philadelphia's powerful electricians' union spends heavily to boost its favored candidate, Rich Lazer. Eastman's team argues her support of single-payer health insurance is an asset - "Both Democrats and Republicans need health insurance", campaign spokesperson Heather Aliano said, before arguing base enthusiasm matters - but national Democrats say if Eastman wins they might not have a shot at the seat, since a district where a number of jobs are dependent on insurance giants headquartered in the city. He's expected to be challenged by fellow Republican Tom Konis. Democrats have a competitive primary there between Scott Wallace, a wealthy executive of a charitable foundation and grandson of an architect of the New Deal, and Rachel Reddick an active duty Naval lawyer and advocate for domestic abuse survivors who describes herself as "Donald Trump's worst nightmare".

'N Korea will never fully give up Nuke weapons'
John Bolton, Trump's national security advisor, also said in an interview with CNN's "State of the Union" that the DPRK should not "look for economic aid from us".

All legislative districts are on the ballot this year.

Meanwhile, Carrie Heath is running unopposed for the Democratic nomination for that seat. Don Westbrook is challenging Rep. Eric Roe in the Republican Primary.

Morganelli might not thrill Democrats given his views - and they invite a future primary challenge if he squeaks through on Tuesday.

Voters in East Goshen, Thornbury and Westtown can vote "yes" or "no" on granting liquor licenses in their township.

If unaffiliated voters don't select which ballot they'd like to receive, they'll receive 2 ballots in their mailbox: 1 for the Democrat primary, and 1 for the Republican. "When there's only one candidate, a lot of people leave it blank". The top four female vote-getters and the top four male vote-getters will be elected to the committee. "There may be more Democrats".

It's also the first election since the Pennsylvania Supreme Court redrew the state's congressional districts after ruling that old maps were unconstitutionally gerrymandered.

No fewer than seven of the state's 18 congressional seats will be open when voters head to the polls on Tuesday morning.

Voters can look up their polling place at centrecountypa.gov/index.aspx?NID=243, or the location is also printed on voter identification cards.
