Jay Ajayi is being sued for $25,000 after allegedly trashing a Los Angeles mansion in February. In addition, the man who filed the suit says Ajayi "pushed [him] on [his] chest in a menacing and threatening manner" when he confronted the National Football League star about the damage on February 18.
The suit has no merit, according to a rep of Ajayi's that spoke with TMZ on Monday evening. He told the website that he and his friends left the property several days early (but still paid the full rate) after the owner tried to get him to pay cash directly, instead of through the Airbnb website, as required by the rental company.
Ajayi is also accused of breaking a table, scratching the floor and violating a rule that prevents smoking.

The NFL player has denied the claims in the lawsuit, which he called "bogus", and said he didn't damage the property in any way, nor host any parties, according to TMZ.
In seven games with Eagles, Ajayi accumulated 408 rushing yards and one touchdown on 70 carries.
Ajayi was traded from the Dolphins to the Eagles in October of past year. In the Eagles' 41-33 Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots, Ajayi ran for 57 yards on nine carries.
