20th Century Fox releases Bohemian Rhapsody's first trailer

Dexter Fletcher's Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) movie trailer stars Rami Malek, Gwilym Lee, Joseph Mazzello, Ben Hardy, and Lucy Boynton.

Malek looks absolutely incredible as Mercury. As expected, Bohemian Rhapsody will have Queen's most popular songs in the film including Killer Queen, We Will Rock You and the film's namesake.

It's been a long feat to make even the trailer.

But it's the depiction of Queen performing at Wembley Stadium for Live Aid in 1985 and the replicated massive crowd which will blow your mind.

Sacha Baron Cohen (best known as Borat in the titular film) was due to play Mercury, but left the project in 2013 over disputes with the remaining Queen members over the direction of the film.

The film's synopsis describes it as a "foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet".

The band, fronted by iconic vocalist Freddie Mercury, rose to fame in the 80s before Mercury's death in 1991 from a complication of AIDS. They inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers.

The film is being directed by Bryan Singer who is famous for directing the first two X-Men movies and more recently, X-Men: Days of the Future Past.

Bohemian Rhapsody in cinemas from November 1.
