Cardi B Says Rita Ora Collab "Girls" Reflects Her Own Experiences

The rapper contributed a guest rap on the track, the chorus of which features Rita singing: "Sometimes I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls, red wine, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls".

Cardi then apologized for times in the past when she may have used offensive terminology, and said she's learned from her mistakes.

She added, "I personally myself had experiences with other woman, with a lot of woman!"

The singer, who is now touring the United Kingdom, took to Instagram on Monday to express her regret over unintentionally hurting members of the LGBTQ community, confessing: 'I am sorry how I expressed myself in my song has hurt anyone'.

Her comments came after Rita issued an apology for the song, where she wrote that the intention behind the music was to explain her 'truth'.

Singer Kehlani, who identifies as "queer," took to Twitter on Friday saying that the song, that Ora referred to as "a celebration of love" to the Metro UK - contains "harmful lyrics".

Distraction hitmaker Kehlani also revealed her thoughts on the song, stating: ' I have an incredible song out with one of the artists, and would love to work with the other three as well. Looking forward, I hope that continuing to express myself through my art will empower my fans to feel as proud of themselves as I'm learning to feel about who I am'. You can see her tweets below.

The "Bickenhead" artist also admitted that she too has had several romantic and sexual experiences with women.
