PGA Tour golfer Lucas Glover was involved in a weird incident that ended with his wife being arrested for domestic violence following his round on Saturday at The Players Championship.
Krista Glover was arrested at the house where the couple was staying during the tournament, where she reportedly had an altercation with Lucas.
Police reportedly saw abrasions and other injuries on Hershey Glover when they arrived to arrest Krista Glover.
Lucas told authorities that "every time he plays poorly in a tournament, Krista begins yelling at him, stating he is a "loser" and a 'p--'". Deputies also noted lacerations on the arms of both Lucas and his mother, Hershey Glover, who also had blood on her clothes.
Glover, who won the 2009 U.S. Open, married Krista in 2012.
Krista also allegedly kicked the door of the police vehicle upon her arrest, separating the door from its frame.
According to the report, Glover's wife fought against being put into the back seat of a patrol vehicle and damaged the door by repeatedly kicking it.
Lucas released a statement on Twitter this morning explaining the situation and asked for the public to respect their privacy.
