On top of all this, Blizzard have announced the release of the Overwatch Legendary Edition. For example, there is a mega health pack in the very center of the map in an area that becomes increasingly unsafe as the match goes on. That all calls for a celebration, and we're getting one with Overwatch's second Anniversary event! The developer update highlights, new free-for-all deathmatch map: PETRA, free-for-all competitive deathmatch season, a free Legendary Anniversary Loot Box, new Anniversary cosmetics and more. What we do know is the game has a LOT of players. The brand new map, Petra, is introduced along with a new competitive mode, featuring placement matches, skill rating tiers, and leaderboards. The season will unfold on Petra and Chateau.
Kaplan also added that the map will be a fine fit for different types of heroes as well be them long-range ones or those that prefer to be up close in the fights. The Overwatch free weekend will be running from May 25 through May 28. Additionally, the event will bring back all seasonal cosmetic items, as well as some past seasonal brawls.
Top lawyer exits as Novartis seeks to quell Cohen backlash
Jimenez said in the interview that a "third party" had recommended Cohen to Novartis, declining to identify that person. On Wednesday, Novartis's general counsel Feliz Ehrat apologised for making the deal in the first place.
The new items include eight Legendary skins, three Epic skins, and new dance emotes for Doomfist, Moria, and Brigitte. Logging on during the event for the first time will also get you one Legendary lootbox which means you're guaranteed at least one legendary item (please let it be that awesome 1980s Zarya skin that I missed out on previous year!).
Most importantly though, just like last year's Anniversary Event, this year's lootboxes will give players the opportunity to unlock every single cosmetic item from all past seasonal events.
