Cohen made a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, shortly before the November 8, 2016, presidential election in exchange for her staying silent about an alleged affair she had with Trump.

The form Trump filed with the Office of Government Ethics a year ago, which was 98 pages long, contained no mention of the Daniels payment.

Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani disclosed recently that Trump reimbursed Cohen for the payment to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

President Donald Trump has filed a financial disclosure report that reveals a payment to his personal attorney, Michael Cohen.

The disclosure did not specify what the reimbursement was for, and gave just a range: $101,000-$250,000.

The acting director of the ethics office, David Apol, said in a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that the original payment made by Cohen should have been disclosed in ethics documents that Trump filed in June 2017.

"In the interest of transparency, while not required to be disclosed as "reportable liabilities".in 2016 expenses were incurred by one of Donald J. Trump's attorneys, Michael Cohen", a note at the bottom of Page 45 of the 92-page report states.

The disclosure forms that he's required to submit to the ethics office provide a more limited view of his finances.

Trump confidant and adviser Rudy Giuliani described the transaction by saying money was "funneled through" Cohen's law firm.

Personal gifts disclosed by Trump include golf-related items from two professional golfers: a golf bag and clubs worth $1,150 from Kevin Streelman and $750 clubs from Bryson Dechambeau. Among his holdings, he took in $25 million from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Trump's latest disclosure filing said Cohen incurred the expense in 2016 and that Cohen "sought reimbursement" in 2017. Previous year it took the agency about two days to make Trump's disclosure form public after it was submitted. "The forms will be available through the Office of Government Ethics". When Trump took office, he refused to fully divest from his global business, instead putting his assets in a trust controlled by his two sons and a senior executive.
