Meghan Markle's half-sister has suffered a broken ankle after a auto crash caused by a photographer veering in front of her vehicle.
Mark, Samantha's boyfriend, told TMZ the pair were driving near a toll booth when they had a "paparazzi confrontation". Her mum Doria Ragland arrived in London on Wednesday for moral support ahead of the nuptials, and teachers and pupils at Immaculate Heart High School and Middle School in Los Angeles, where the actress was a former student, will host a celebration to mark Markle's big day.
The dramatic injury comes as Meghan Markle's father Thomas dropped out of attending the royal wedding, as he needed urgent heart surgery yesterday.
It is understood Samantha hit the auto windscreen as a result of the collision and fell to the vehicle's floor mat. According to Markle's companion, there was a photographer in the other auto and he was trying to get a good shot of Samantha and himself.
Samantha has also found herself pinned as the villain in her princess-to-be sister's fairytale after taking responsibility for the "staged" paparazzi photos of her father.

Meghan Markle wanted her estranged half-sister to remain quiet in the days leading up to her royal wedding Saturday at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, but that's not going to happen. 'Meghan's way out of her league to tell me I can't speak'.
"It was done with the good intention to make the royal family look good, and himself", she claimed.
She adds: "This is not Great Britain".
Tensions within the Markle family have already started to show, with Meghan's mum Doria Ragland said to be furious with her ex-husband Thomas Markle for not stopping relatives from slamming the bride-to-be.
