Choosing between Lupe Valdez and Andrew White as the party's nominee for governor is the only issue on the Orange County ballot and Democrat voters are an endangered species here. The response is either a voter identification card listing the new voter's precinct number and polling place location or a letter that explains the reason or reasons the application for voter registration was not approved.

Voter turnout in Idaho has hovered around 25 percent among registered voters in recent primary election cycles.

The winners of Tuesday's primaries advance to compete in the November 6 general election. One postcard is going to approximately 28,000 mail ballot voters whom Postal Service records show have recently moved but have not re-registered.

Generally, voters are affiliated with a political party when they previously chose to vote in a political party's primary or when they affiliate with a party while registering to vote. Sara Gelser and incumbent District 15 Rep. Dan Rayfield are running unopposed in the Democratic primary. Completed applications may either be mailed to the Albemarle County Department of Voter Registration and Elections at Box 404, 536 Pantops Center, Charlottesville, VA 22911, or delivered in person at 1600 5th Street, Charlottesville.

The 21st is the deadline for all Virginia voters to register to vote or update an existing registration.

All of the elected offices available in the 2018 election can be viewed here. Unaffiliated voters may only return one party's ballot. The group said it received some reports of voters receiving incorrect ballots and having their registration unexpectedly changed.

It's not just candidates, of course - people who have been involved in campaigns for (and against) various other election measures will be glued to their computers tonight.
