Days Gone, Sony Bend's PS4 exclusive game where a burly biker man has to survive in a world of freakers (zombies), was first teased a couple of years ago at E3.

Sony also released a brand new trailer which introduces mountain lions and cougars as well as a new line of infected ravens. The announcement arrives as part of Sony's new pre-E3 reveal schedule, which unveiled Tetris Effect for PSVR yesterday.

Tomorrow a brand-new PlayStation 4 game announcement is promised, then a new PlayStation VR game on Saturday, and on Sunday "An Eagerly Anticipated Game Comes to PS VR". According the the official PlayStation Blog, one enemy group called R.I.P. worships the "freakers", which is what zombies are called in this universe.

Days Gone is Sony Bend's first title since Uncharted: Golden Abyss in 2012, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic United States infested by z.sorry, like Ed says in Shaun of the Dead, we're not supposed to say 'the zed word.' Freakers.

Days Gone will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4.

Days Gone gone is in a bit of a weird spot for Sony, as most PlayStation fans are undoubtedly looking forward to Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic game The Last of Us II.
