Roma keeper Alisson drops hint his future will be resolved before start of World Cup

Alisson wants future cleared prior to the World Cup with Liverpool looking the most likely destination for the Brazillian shot-stopper.

Liverpool FC are believed to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer as they bid to try and build a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

But Liverpool are expected to look at alternative targets as they are unwilling to spent £79million - Alisson's buy-out clause - to strike a deal.

Alisson shone last season between the sticks for Roma and has been eyed by Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the current transfer window.

Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for Thibaut Courtois, however, and are following his situation in west London closely.

According to a report from Brazilian outfit Terra, Liverpool have submitted a bid of £57 million for Roma's Alisson Becker, in an attempt to wrap up a deal to sign the Brazilian before the start of the World Cup.

'To be honest, I left everything in the hands of my agents.

But the 25-year-old has not given up on a possible stay at the Italian capital as stated by GOAL."There are possibilities on which we are working, but always together with Roma and with respect to my club", he said."We will see what will happen this week".

The 1994 World Cup victor, who also spent time in Italy with Parma during his playing career, told Tele Radio Stereo: "Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours".

"If it's not resolved before the World Cup, then it will be discussed after it because my head will be focused only on Brazil [during the tournament]".
