LeBron gets swept, and now all eyes on his future

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr takes questions at a press conference before the basketball team's practiced during the NBA Finals Thursday

Myers wants to keep as much of the core of the two-time defending champions intact while also realizing the Warriors will be a younger team without the same veteran presence as the group that just swept LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to finish the finals Friday.

The workout took place on the same day the Cavs lost Game 4 of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors and were swept out of the series. Had Chris Paul not gotten hurt, who knows if the Warriors even win that Game 7 in Houston and take the West title.

Television ratings for the game itself tells us a story of a general public that largely tuned it out.

The post LeBron James hand injury update isn't an excuse for finals loss as news caught his camp by surprise appeared first on Cavs Nation.

The Warriors have run into James for four consecutive years in the Finals and although they've got the better of him on three occasions, his individual numbers and performances over those four series have been truly remarkable. Surely, the defense of Andre Iguodala against James will be the luxury of the Warriors again. The commissioner would just allow that a more restrictive system is "something we'll continue to look at".

"I get asked all the time about MJ, LeBron, and it's such a hard question to ask", Kerr said, according to a USA Today report on Saturday.

"I pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand", James said wearing a soft cast on his right hand. It ended a drought for Cleveland of 50-plus years, so I think we'll all remember that in sports history.

We're hopeful that we can achieve that in the two and half years", he said , adding that there is "a lot of work left to do". Trump cast the decision as a cost-saving measure, but also called the exercises "inappropriate" while talks continue.

"When you feel like you are really good at your craft, it's always great to be around other great minds and other great ballplayers", James said. "It makes too much sense and he's a smart guy".

Love, 29, averaged 17.6 points and 9.3 rebounds per game this season and boasted his best shooting season in Cleveland as he hit 45.8 percent of his attempts from the field and 41.5 percent from three-point range. He can become a free agent on July 1, and his future is uncertain. "Then it ultimately will come down to me, and so we'll see what happens". The change now allows teams to sign players to five-year deals up until they are 38 years old.

The final on Friday night was Golden State 108, Cleveland 85.

Teams like the Houston Rockets, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Philadelphia 76ers will look to target him.

National Basketball Association icon and current (for now) Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James was recently announced as the cover athlete for the 20th Anniversary Edition in the National Basketball Association 2K franchise. Four years after returning to Cleveland from Miami, James has delivered what he promised: a championship for the city of Cleveland.

"We've got a lot of three-time, two-time champs in there, and we'll have plenty of time in our lives to discuss that later", Curry said. The Warriors may be leaving great piles of money on the table, but they still get even greater piles of money.
