Watch Grayson Allen, Trae Young Get Into Scuffle During Summer League Game

Allen's Utah Jazz and Young's Atlanta Hawks met up Thursday for some summer league action, and things got a little chippy in the third quarter.

The play occurred just after halftime during a Hawks offensive possession. It seemed that Allen, intentionally or not, got his arms entangled with Young, who was attempting a shot.

On Thursday, the Utah Jazz rookie wasted no time getting into some controversy when he and Trae Young became entangled and had to be separated. On the way back up, hands aloft as if he were trying to end the play, Allen appeared to give Young a slight shoulder check. Both Young and Allen were selected in the first round of the 2018 NBA Draft. The former Duke Blue Devils star ducked down and put his head into Young's chest.

Apparently this was close enough to happening on July 3rd that Mickelson thought it was a done deal, but it fell through. Many golf fans have been wondering if these two will ever face each other in a competitive round.

Both were to blame, and both were assessed technical fouls. Allen was also called for a personal foul.

Originally seen as a second-round pick, Allen moved up into the first round as he impressed National Basketball Association scouts at the National Basketball Association combine, in one-on-one workouts and in interviews. Sometimes when that happens, the player will go to the Knicks, and a bunch of people boo, because the NBA Draft occurs in NY, and a sect of Knicks fans have booed everyone who has been drafted by the team since Patrick Ewing. "I'm a physical player".
