In terms of battery life, the Surface Go official numbers are slightly lower than those of the iPad: the Go is said to last up to 9 hours on a single charge, while the iPad can last up to 10 hours. It is in stark contrast with its strategy for the Surface Laptop and the other ill-fated Windows 10 S edition which had "education" all over it.
