Prince Louis, the third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be christened in London, but his great-grandparents won't be there. The Duke of Sussex purchased a first edition of Winnie-The-Pooh, worth close to $11,000.

Archbishop Justin Welby expressed his delight of presiding over the christening of Prince Louis and wrote on Twitter before the ceremony: "Please join me in praying for him and his family on this special day".

Prince Louis, the youngest member of the British Royal family, was christened at the Chapel Royal (where his older brother Prince George was christened as well) on Monday. The robe, which was handmade by Angela Kelly, the Queen's personal dressmaker, is a replica of the original christening gown designed for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter.

The list includes Nicholas van Cutsem, former Etonian Harry Aubrey-Fletcher and Lady Laura Meade, who is the wife of royal wedding speech-maker James Meade.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a dress by her go-to designer Alexander McQueen for the occasion, finishing the look with a hat by Jane Taylor.

The little prince wore the same gown his older siblings wore to their christenings and continued the tradition. Going with the blue theme of her dress, Charlotte wore matching blue shoes and white socks.

President Trump loses 300K followers in Twitter purge
Although losing 2 million followers is undoubtedly a significant drop, proportionally speaking it's not necessarily huge. By late Thursday night, the president had officially lost close to 196,000 followers as the purge kept on going.

After Louis' christening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hosting a private tea at Clarence House, which is the official residence of William's father and stepmother, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Cairns previously told Town & Country that tiers of the cake she baked for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding were served at both Prince George and Prince Charlotte's christenings in 2013 and 2015, respectively.

Prince Louis was serene at his christening.

While Kate cradled the littlest royal, Prince William guided Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3, inside.

Prince Louis' great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and great-grandfather, Prince Philip, were noticeably absent from the family celebration.

For their part, Kate Middleton and Prince William merely gave Charlotte a sideways glance in reaction, but we've got a feeling her antics caused more than a few photographers to crack a smile.
