Coronado, who was visiting Miami from Chicago, told the police that he and his girlfriend were simply asking for directions when Crenshaw attacked, the Associated Press reported. Jonathan Crenshaw apparently got into a dispute with a 22-year-old and stabbed him with twice with scissors.

A homeless South Florida man with no arms has been charged with stabbing a Chicago tourist. He then tucked the scissors in his waistband and walked away.

Crenshaw has been charged with aggravated battery. An ambulance and police arrived to make an arrest nearby.

Crenshaw claimed he acted in self-defence after Coronado punched him in the head, the report said. That's when Crenshaw allegedly stabbed Coronado in the arm before fleeing.

Interestingly, Crenshaw is known for painting colourful artworks using his feet, said a local news report.
