Prosecutors dropped charges Thursday against Stormy Daniels just hours after the porn star was arrested and accused of illegally rubbing undercover police officers' faces against her bare breasts during a performance at an OH strip club.
A prosecutor's memo provided by Avenatti says an OH illegal touching law can't be enforced because Daniels has only appeared once at the Columbus club. She was scheduled to be arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court on Friday morning, according to court records.
She was arrested during a sting operation, said her lawyer. "They asked her if they could place their face in between her breasts while she was performing on stage". Daniels reportedly did the same with a male detective as well, the report states. In Daniels' case, it was her first appearance at Sirens in Columbus.
She fondled a third officer's buttocks and breasts, according to the documents, and then forced the officer's head between her breasts and smacked the officer's face with her breasts.
Nancy Sinatra, first wife of Frank Sinatra, dies at 101
When Sinatra shot to fame in the 1940s, the couple relocated to Los Angeles, where their youngest daughter Tina Sinatra was born. Frank Sinatra was a little-known jazz singer who worked as a lifeguard when he met Nancy Barbato in the mid-1930s.
Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, told MSNBC his client has performed the same act hundreds of times without incident.
Another officer in the back of the club went to get backup before arresting Daniels, who was released on bond early Thursday.
Two police detectives and an officer in the club noticed what Daniels was doing and approached the stage. They said they have made numerous arrests under the no-touching law but did not immediately provide a number. The Division investigates in these operations routinely with no effect on other calls for service.
Avenatti on Twitter cited an official statement from Daniels saying that because of her arrest Thursday night's performance was canceled.
They say Stormy's touchy-feely performance came later - around 11:30 PM - and she actually motorboated all 3 undercover cops, not just Praither.
She has filed two lawsuits against Trump, who denies he had an affair with her in 2006 and paid her off to keep quiet about it. She's suing Mr Trump and his former longtime personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen and seeking to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement that she signed days before the 2016 presidential election.
