Adil Rashid has said that he would welcome an England Test recall despite turning his back on the red-ball game in February.

The 23-year-old took five wickets in the opening Twenty20 global and then returned superb figures of 6-25 - the best by any spinner against England in a One-day worldwide.

Jos Buttler has returned to the England Test set-up on the back of his strong run of form in the Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament and England coach Trevor Bayliss did not rule out Rashid's return via limited-overs cricket.

Edgbaston, where England are unbeaten since 2009, will get the five-Test series underway from August 1-5, with matches following at Lord's, Headingley, Old Trafford and the Oval. "I'm not sure whether (chief selector) Ed Smith's had a chat with him or not. He's bowled well in one-day cricket over the last few years but his control and his consistency this year has been top class and probably the best I've seen him bowl since I've been here", Bayliss said.

Why Trump-Putin summit is in Helsinki
In response, he has blamed President Obama for allowing Putin to annex Crimea from Ukraine during his administration in 2014. Dan Coats, Trump's director of national intelligence, promptly made clear he did not share the president's view.

"It will also provide excellent Ashes preparation for England against an Irish team whose impressive performance against Pakistan earlier this year showed they can compete strongly in this form of the game". Well, it's already been proven this year it's happened once.

But Test wicketkeeper Bairstow believes England can carry momentum from their one-day series win over Virat Kohli's side into the Test arena. "So, look I'm sure he'll be up for discussion definitely". "I don't think that'll be coming out anytime soon!"

When the Yorkshire batsman hit the winning boundary that both took him to exactly 100 not out and clinched an eight-wicket win with 33 balls to spare that saw England seal a 2-1 success in a three-match series, he dropped his bat. We are really excited to be going into a lengthy Test series.

However, he has been in fine form on the United Kingdom tour so far and scored consecutive hundreds in the series-deciding T20 against England and the following ODI series opener. If these two batsmen continue to score runs in the Test series then India will be on the back foot and will find it hard to make a comeback.
