Collider reports Universal's Image Comics adaptation of Cowboy Ninja Viking starring Chris Pratt has been delayed indefinitely as the studio has pulled the release date from its calendar. The film was initially set to be released on June 28, 2019, but Universal reportedly wasn't eager to rush to meet a release date.
While the film is now delayed indefinitely, according to Collider it's said to still be very much in active development. Chopra will be "the first choice for the role" when the film gets a new production schedule, but "her involvement would all depend on her schedule aligning with" the filming months. The movie will be action heavy, while still aiming for a PG-13 rating. She was originally set to make her feature film debut with Wonder Woman, but she bumped heads with DC and Warner Bros., and left under the guise of creative differences.
