Despite the slightly larger screen, too, the Note 9 is actually 0.6mm shorter than the Note 8 thanks to the even slimmer bezels. It's an evolution of the Galaxy Note 8 but one with some notable upgrades.

The Note 9 makes use of a rear dual aperture camera - which adjusts how much light gets in - in a similar manner to the S9. And the 9 has niche pricing to match: the "cheaper" of the two Note 9 configurations (128GB flash, 6GB RAM) sets you back $999, the 512GB flash, 8GB RAM version $1,250.
