In a series of interviews on NBC, Manigault Newman also revealed two audio recordings from her time at the White House, including portions of a recording of her firing by Kelly, which she says occurred in the high-security Situation Room, and a phone call with Trump after she was sacked.

"If we make this a friendly departure...you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation", Kelly tells her. This is his pattern with African Americans.

And that, she said, is more evidence of how Trump treats black people. She also released a recording of a phone conversation she had with Trump, during which he seemed unaware of her firing or why it took place.
