Square Enix took a chance on the Nintendo Switch by releasing a classic-style JRPG called Octopath Traveler as an exclusive for the console.
In a bombshell of an announcement, a whole slew of Final Fantasy games will be heading to the Switch.
World of Final Fantasy Maxima will lead the charge with its release on the Xbox One on November 6th. First, ports of Final Fantasy VII and IX will arive, followed by the remastered X and X-2 combo pack, and XII: The Zodiac Age later on. Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon, World of Final Fantasy, and Crystal Chronicles will also release on the PS4. This one is an updated version of the original game, and has a full release date of November 6, 2018 for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch, and the PC.
