Julie Chen officially parted ways with The Talk on Tuesday, little more than one week after husband Les Moonves was sacked from CBS in the wake of sexual harassment allegations. Chen did close out last Thursday's episode of the hit reality series by showing support for her husband, signing off the episode as "Julie Chen Moonves" instead just saying Julie Chen.

"She has decided that her main focus needs to be clearing her husband's name from accusations made 25-30 years ago and tending to her son".

"Chen will reportedly continue to host CBS" Big Brother.

Chen will address her exit, which is effective immediately, in a videotaped message that will air on Tuesday's episode.

However, Chen is believed to be maintaining her role as host of "Big Brother".

Moonves, who has served as CBS' longtime CEO, exited the company on September 9. In a statement, she said she would be off for a few days, but she did not address the allegations against her husband.

However, that didn't stop her co-hosts from having an open discussion about her husband on their show.

The Seahawks' offense had just 80 yards to its credit after three frames, at least partially the impact of being without Baldwin. Wilson is now the first quarterback to be sacked 11 times within the first two games of the season since Chad Henne was in 2014.

It's unclear if the decision to leave The Talk was purely Chen's idea or if she was asked to leave.

He tweeted: 'Tonight, Julie Chen signed off Big Brother as Julie Chen Moonves, firmly standing w/her husband, a serial sexual assaulter who ruined careers.

"I have been at The Talk since the day it started nine years ago and the cast, crew and staff have become family over the years." she said. Sara Gilbert also weighed in, saying that while she loves and supports Chen "always", this is "an important time in our culture".

In July, Chen sent out a statement after six women went public with their sexual misconduct allegations against Moonves in a New Yorker report. He's always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement'.

Then more women came out, and Chen skipped "The Talk" season premiere last week.

Chen and Moonves, who have been married since 2004, met while Moonves was the president and chief officer of CBS Television and Chen hosted "CBS This Morning" and "Big Brother".
