Late Firmino strike gives Liverpool 3-2 win over PSG

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp kept Firmino on the bench in his side's 3-2 win over PSG but brought him on with about 20 minutes to go, and the 26-year-old scored the added-time victor to extend the Red's 100 per cent record to six matches.

"The three in midfield also (were great) but they can only do that when the front three play like they do and in that number nine position he (Sturridge) did".

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was doubtful Firmino would be ready ahead of that game, but Mane had other ideas and proceeded to pester his team-mate.

"It is about desire and belief, it is what we try to do".

"I can open the eye again", Firmino told Juergen Klopp, according to his manager after the 3-2 victory.

Firmino had recovered enough to come of the bench and grab the added-time victor but Klopp was pleased with both forwards, especially as the Brazilian looked set to miss out completely.

U.S. Accuses Russia of Cheating on North Korea Sanctions
Monday's meeting, called for by the U.S. , came on the eve of a high-stakes inter-Korean summit in the Pyongyang. We know the answer: it's because Russian Federation has been cheating and now they've been caught.

Roberto Firmino saved his team-mates blushes after scoring an injury time victor to secure a 3-2 win and Salah appeared to vent his relief after being seen throwing a water bottle to the ground in the dug out shortly after the Brazilian had made it 3-2 at Anfield.

He did take one for the team, though.

PSG did managed to halt Liverpool's momentum shortly before half-time when right-back Thomas Meunier reacted smartly to volley home a loose ball that popped up at the far post, and with his weaker foot too.

Over the years we have become accustomed to Brazilian superstar Neymar making defenders look silly as he leaves them for dead with outrageous skills moves.

"We conceded two goals in the first half but never at any point did we lose our confidence". We have quality in the team and I think we're mentally free to go forward.

With less than 10 minutes left, Salah gave away the ball in his own end and Neymar delivered a flawless cross to Kylian Mbappe who got the equalizer. But I think it's still early and last year was last year.
