"This is a very special place", said Melania, per CNN's Kate Bennett.

It has become something of a tradition for U.S. first ladies. It's hard to forget, mostly because of that less-than-subtle message scrawled across the back: "I really don't care do u?"

Anyway, just a few short months after that debacle, Melania Trump stepped out for day two of her week-long tour of Africa wearing yep, another olive green lightweight jacket.

The former model, whose choice of clothing is keenly watched, changed from a safari-inspired departure outfit of suede trench coat and leopard print heels to a red and white striped dress with white pumps by the time she arrived in West Africa. The 48-year-old is promoting her Be Best initiative, her official agenda unveiled in May created to improve children's well-being. She has stops planned in Malawi, Kenya and Egypt.

But as she attempts to step out of her husband's shadow, the Africa trip has been seen as an attempt for her to carve her own diplomatic path.

Though she arrived clad in her signature stilettos for the event, she later swapped her shoes for more practical flats as she toured the castle; she pulled the same stiletto-swap yesterday while visiting the maternity ward of a hospital. "It's really a tragedy", she said. The only issue is that most people in Africa are still waiting to get cyber.

President Donald Trump has not visited Africa since taking office in 2017.

Jon Lester has very candid response to Cubs wild-card game loss
Freeland, who lost his only start against the Cubs (3-2 in April), allowed only four hits, all singles, and one walk. Freeland, meanwhile, allowed just one Cub to reach scoring position before leaving two outs into the seventh inning.

But there were signs that the soft diplomatic push was yet to take off locally, as comparisons were drawn to the visit of former United States president Barack Obama and his family in 2009.

Many past American first ladies have also made trips to the African continent, including Michelle Obama, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton.

On Tuesday, President Trump openly mocked the university professor who made the allegations, drawing scorn from critics who said such taunts deterred survivors of assault.

However by the time she reached Cape Coast Castle, the mother-of-one had removed the addition to the look, leaving it free from any accessories, save for her diamond wedding band.

Meanwhile, First Lady Getrude Mutharika returns home Wednesday in time to welcome the US Firs Lady.

Unlike the Obamas' visit, the roads from the airport were not packed with onlookers while there was little fanfare in the local media, according to an AFP reporter on the ground.
