California-based tech giant Google is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphones Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL next week. Google themselves have obviously been following all of these rumours that some have been creating and we have been reporting on because they have had a bit of fun with it via their @MadeByGoogle Instagram account. Teasing "something big", Google wrote in the mail, "We'll have a lot more to talk about on October 9". It allowed the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL users to trigger Google Assistant by squeezing the phone. Which begs the question of how "mini" is too mini? "Tune in on 10/9 to see for yourself", the company said in the Instagram post.

Google has already begun sending emails to Pixel 2 series owners in select global regions that Pixel 3 will be available for pre-order on the launch date 9 October itself. Pixel 3 series will come with dual-tone glass-and-metal finish body.

The Pixel 3 is expected to feature a 5.4-inch OLED panel, while the Pixel 3 XL is expected to sport a much larger 6.7-inch screen bearing the same display technology. The pricing of the aforementioned handsets is expected to drop even further as the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL land in India, so stay tuned for that. The company has scheduled the launch for October 9 in NY, where it will unveil the device.
