It's no secret the Pittsburgh Steelers are actively trying to trade running back Le'Veon Bell. Corey Clement has had nagging issues on and off for the last few weeks now, and Ajayi becomes no longer available as he was sent to the Injured Reserve.
The 25-year-old has rushed for 184 yards with three touchdowns over four games with this season, his first full season in Philly.
Ajayi, in his team's loss to Minnesota on Sunday, carried the ball just eight times for 29 yards.
Philadelphia acquired Ajayi in October 2017 in a trade with the Miami Dolphins.
It's unclear exactly when Ajayi suffered the injury, or if it limited him against the Vikings. Not only did they lose the NFC Championship rematch at home, but they also lost their starting running back, Jay Ajayi.
Google shuts down Google+ following massive security flaw
From that point forward, G+ will continue on as an enterprise product, where many companies seem to use it heavily. Up to 496,951 users could have been affected, and up to 438 apps could have accessed the data.
The season, and possibility the entire tenure with the Eagles, is now over for Ajayi, who is in the previous year of his contract.
Ajayi tore his ACL as a freshman back at Boise State in 2011.
It's a tough blow for an Eagles team that has been dealing with injuries to key players. At 2-3, there is some panic in the City of Brotherly Love that there is a Super Bowl hangover.
In case you were wondering, no, it is not a coincidence that the Eagles fixed up the cap on Monday night. They're going to need to revamp their running attack before then.
