Bethesda, the developers of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games, will officially release the stress test for their new Fallout 76 game for lucky Xbox Insiders who pre-ordered the game before its November 14th release date.

And perhaps the biggest shout-out to West Virginia is that the official trailer for Fallout 76 is set to a remix of John Denver's song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" - because how can you even think of West Virginia without that song playing in your head?

The open world video game, which will be online for the first time in the game series' history, will be set in post-nuclear West Virginia.

The most recent game in the series generated more than $750 million within the first 24 hours of its retail launch in 2015, and West Virginia expects the new game to be an worldwide sensation as well. Details on promotional offers, exclusive tours, and "Vault Boy sightings" will be released in the coming weeks, so stay tuned if you're around the area and want to be involved. Given Bethesda's past games though, I wouldn't be surprised if we can trek through the entire thing.

As for the closed beta, Fallout 76 will begin on October 23 for those who've pre-ordered on Xbox One. They've really embraced West Virginia and its beauty. The state's partnership with Bethesda could bring thousands of Fallout fans to the state.

According to reports, for some selected insiders the beta will start tomorrow, and apparently the guys from Digital Foundry have had early access to it to try it on a brand new Xbox One X, unfortunately, it seems that the results have not been as good like those achieved with Fallout 4.
