Messi suffers arm injury ahead of clash with Real Madrid

Lionel Messi picks up nasty arm injury and could miss El Clasico

Lionel Messi fractured his right arm in Barcelona's 4-2 win over Sevilla and will be out for approximately three weeks, meaning he will miss next Sunday's El Clasico.

On that day, Julio Baptista scored the only goal of the game to collect all three points for Bernd Schuster's side.

Messi left Barca's La Liga match against Sevilla in the 26th minute on Saturday.

"We will notice his absence", Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde said. We have to deal with it and we will be prepared.

The scans showed that Messi has broken his arm, and will be out for at least three weeks. We all know what the opponent thinks when they play Leo.

G League to Offer $125K Salaries to Elite Prospects
The Select Contracts also solve a problem for the G League, which has been asked to enhance its offerings. In related fashion, the G League is making MAJOR moves. "We believe this is an answer to that call".

The gruesome-looking injury occurred when Messi landed hard on his right arm after getting wrapped up with Sevilla midfielder Franco Vazquez.

Barca have not won a Clasico without Messi since he made his debut for the club in 2004 and they failed to beat Athletic Bilbao when he was rested last month.

Barca were ahead after just two minutes as Philippe Coutinho collected a pass from Messi before burying the ball into the top corner.

At the time of writing, the severity of Messi's injury remains unknown but considering the pain he was in, it would not be surprising to see him miss some crucial fixtures for the Catalan giants.

As well as Real Madrid, Messi is also set to miss both of Barcelona's Champions League meetings with Inter Milan, with both teams in the same group as Tottenham. He is fundamental and he marks a lot of the team's game, but we will try to keep our idea and take a step forward.
