At Amazon, it’s Black Friday already. Next stop, complete holiday domination

In a press release issued November 1, Target revealed its annual Black Friday ad, and announced a new mobile technology that will allow shoppers to "skip the line" and check out with a Target team member from anywhere within the store. Meanwhile, the Mall of America announced it will close for the holiday for the third year in a row, though anchor stores with separate entrances can open if they want. Loyalty programs or paid memberships from your favorite online retailers can provide you with access to the best deals during Black Friday. In the run-up to the big day, the retail giant will post rotating discounts, some of which should match the best you'll find throughout Black Friday 2018.

Target says it will also have a new mobile checkout option, following a similar announcement that Walmart made earlier this week.

The company also is rolling out Order Pickup for select items on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Target has also got in on the Black Friday frenzy by offering its 2018 free shipping deal now. Additionally, you'll be able to enter promo code CHEERFUL at checkout online to receive 15% off your purchase (there's a printable coupon in the ad you can use to get the same deal in-store).

The "skip-the-line" feature will allow guests to check out with a Target team member from anywhere in the store, allowing them to avoid the usual checkout counters and avoid congestion at the front of the store.
