The Georgia race for governor has garnered national attention as Abrams vies to become the first black female governor in American history.

Kemp, the Republican nominee, canceled on Wednesday his participation in Sunday night's debate so that he could campaign with President Donald Trump at a rally, the New York Times reported.

Vice President Mike Pence has multiple stops scheduled with Kemp.

Winfrey last fully endorsed and campaigned for a candidate was September 25, 2006 when she endorsed then-Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States.

More than 1.5 million of the state's nearly 7 million registered voters have cast ballots already.

"Stacey Abrams is being bankrolled by Hollywood liberals", Pence said, after drawing boos when he mentioned that "Oprah is in town" and noted that actor Will Ferrell was recently in the state for Democrats.

Bolsonaro To Merge Finance, Planning and Trade Into One Super Ministry
In one of the most fragmented Congresses in Brazilian history, it will be a leading opposition force. Bolsonaro beat Leftist candidate Fernando Haddad by a vote of 55.1% versus 44.8%.

She added a note to the throng of media gathered for the event, urging against any reboot of recent speculation that she might run for president in 2020.

An NBC News/Marist poll showed the Georgia Gubernatorial race in a dead heat with only one percentage point separating the candidates, Kemp was leading Abrams 46-45. "I am here today because Stacey Abrams cares about the things that matter".

That could mean that events that energize core supporters, like a rally with Trump or Obama, carry more weight than a debate less than 48 hours before Election Day.

Both town halls - one in Cobb County and one in DeKalb County - have been sold out, according to Abrams' campaign.

"I appreciate your honesty that you want to ban it", McCain said again.

Kemp, the secretary of state in Georgia, has faced accusations of voter suppression in recent weeks over the state's "exact match" law and the cancellation of 670,000 voter registrations in 2017.
