Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg has been admitted to George Washington University Hospital after falling in her court office and fracturing three ribs.

The 85-year-old justice initially went home after the fall, but experienced discomfort overnight. The court says the fall occurred Wednesday evening.

"Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment", it said. In 2012, Ginsburg fractured two ribs.

Ginsburg's hospitalization comes on the morning of the formal investiture of the court's newest justice, Brett M. Kavanaugh. President Trump and new acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker were expected to attend.

Prior to her appointment, Ms Ginsburg focused her work on women's rights and started the first law journal dedicated to the topic.

Dez Bryant will get his chance at revenge with the Saints
The Saints, sitting at 7-1 atop the NFC South, will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 10. When asked where Bryant might fit best a few months ago, Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott called it.

In the 2018 midterm elections, Republicans won seats in the U.S. Senate, making future Supreme Court confirmation battles easier. Broken ribs typically heal on their own in six weeks to a month, and patients are advised to limit strenuous activity.

The Supreme Court has never needed the Notorious RBG more than it needs her now.

That said, it would probably be healthy for her to resign.

For what it's worth, Ginsburgh apparently has no plans of stepping down, and has even hired clerks for the term that extends into 2020.
