Both the Senate and gubernatorial races seem to be headed for a recount due to the extra votes being found and counted.

On Thursday, Scott, who won by a slim margin over Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson, filed a lawsuit against Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes and her counterpart in Palm Beach, Susan Bucher.

Two Democratic-leaning counties, Broward County and Palm Beach County, haven't completed counting mail-in ballots - and one of them hasn't finished counting early ballots, either.

If the vote margin remains under the half percentage point for any of the three races in question, Secretary of State Ken Detzner is required to order the recount. "She did not abide by the law".

Independent congressional candidate Tim Canova asked to see the paper ballots to examine voter irregularities in his failed bid to unseat Rep. He also requests Saturday's deadline to canvass ballots be extended until the legal matter is resolved.

Even more disappointing is the 1,000 votes that will never be counted.

"More ballots came in", said Joyce Griffin, Monroe County's supervisor of elections.

"We can not allow over eight million votes throughout Florida to be undermined because you have someone who is either too stupid or too corrupt to do their job and report the votes on time", he said.

"Well, Miami-Dade did", Weinsier said.

Asked to clarify, she responded, "I'm not going to clarify. I'll check", Snipes said.

Others who have been affected by the fire include Alyssa Milano, who tweeted, "I just had to evacuate my home from the fires". He also urged his fans to help out with relief efforts.

"Tonight I am asking the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate this immediately and I am considering every single legal option available".

The AP has not called a victor in the Senate race. Instead she's offered flimsy excuses or nothing.

Photos shared on Twitter showed that on the ballot papers in Broward county the section where voters could opt for Scott or Nelson was located in the bottom left of the ballot, beneath instructions on how to vote. Following Scott's lawsuit, Florida Department of Law Enforcement confirmed it will launch investigations into these counties and their respective supervisors, The Hill reported. Those calls became premature as there were many ballots still yet to be counted.

Senator Marco Rubio, another Florida Republican, has also been an outspoken critic of the recount process, tweeting repeatedly about the controversy and earning Mr Trump's praise.

Early Voting in #BrowardCounty ended 108 hours ago. He said officials performing the count do not have the necessary training to match signatures, and that similar laws in other states have been thrown out.

"He is here to try to steal the election, and to try to thwart the will of the voters of Florida", Scott said. She has also been required by law to give count totals every 45 minutes, she has also ignored that law.

'We believe at the end of the day, Sen. "Nelson will prevail in a recount", Marc Elias, a lawyer for Nelson, told reporters on Friday.

"I have a right to vote for whoever I want to vote for", said Gillum supporter Jonie Jones.

Already, however, national media outlets are working to discredit election integrity fears.

Republican control of the 100-member Senate isn't in doubt, but the races in Florida and Arizona have implications for how easily GOP lawmakers can confirm Trump's picks for the federal judiciary and top agency positions.

Why are Democrats so sure these missing ballots will hold the key to victory? The lack of transparency raises substantial concerns about the validity of the election process.
