He was recently released by the Oakland Raiders. Atlanta, meanwhile, has 17 sacks this season, tied for fifth-fewest in the league. "I've been around, I've had success and I know what it takes to be successful".

"Me and DQ can't sit and dwell on what we did in Seattle and going to those Super Bowls and stuff like that", Irvin said.

Neither the team nor Irvin revealed the financial details of the deal, but Irvin told ESPN he passed up more lucrative offers for the chance to play for Atlanta.

It will be interesting to see if the Steelers eventually do add another pass rusher for this stretch run.

Irvin has three sacks so far this season after posting a career-high eight last season.

Some iPhone X devices have touchscreen problems
The iPhone X went on sale last November and was discontinued when the iPhone XS and iPhone XR models were introduced in September. When the iPhone X was released a year ago , it ushered in a new look and feel for Apple's handsets.

What does this mean for Irvin and the Falcons moving forward? With Vic Beasley and Takk McKinley already in place on the edge, might Quinn and defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel get creative and bump one of them inside? The hope now is that Adrian Clayborn, Deatrich Wise, and others continue to build upon last Sunday night's strong game.

In all honesty, it was probably the easiest decision for Irvin, who is an Atlanta native, to choose the Falcons.

The question for Atlanta will be are they capable of continuing to string together wins?

In his introductory press conference with the Falcons, Irvin voiced that he wants to help the team by being the missing piece on that side of the ball, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. This meant Irvin became a free-agent on Tuesday.
