You know, from that kiss on, we were- it was- it was love. Being America's first black first lady did not come that easy on her.

Michelle Obama had a miscarriage before conceiving her daughters through IVF, the former First Lady reveals in a new book. There were people who didn't know what a black woman was and sounded like.

"I think it's the worst thing that we do to each other as women: not share the truth about our bodies and how they work and how they don't work", she said, as seen in the clip below.

Throughout her husband's life in politics, she fought to balance public and private needs, and to maintain her self-esteem.

Obama is promoting her book, Becoming Michelle Obama, which goes on sale from 12 November 2018. And Barack Obama has always walked like Barack Obama. By 2008, after a meteoric rise to fame, the senator announced his candidacy for president.

The former First Lady said she will "never forgive" the President.

Mrs Obama also accuses Mr Trump of using body language to "stalk" Mrs Clinton during a presidential election debate.

She didn't even want to see it. "No matter how hard we tried, we couldn't seem to come up with a pregnancy". "I treated it like a mission", she says. "And, and so my attitude was a reflection of that skepticism".

Hundreds protest in Memphis to protect Mueller investigation
Those demonstrating in the " Nobody is above the Law " protest called for Whitaker to recuse himself from the investigation. At the time, Whitaker was preparing to assume a new post: chief of staff to then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions .

"I didn't really know what to expect". Accused me of not loving my country. "He wasn't playing games", she said. And, I was, like, 'This isn't me.

"It's wonderful to me that we still have to tell people about the importance of voting", she said.

Her book, in which the attack on Trump for stirring up potential violence against his predecessor is mentioned, will be released on Monday, just weeks after a bomb was sent to the Obama's office.

Obama told Roberts that the criticism she endured during her husband's campaign hurt.

She said it was at that point she and husband Barack realized: 'We had to do IVF'. I need to talk about it.

"What I learned about myself was that my happiness was up to me". But at the time, oh gosh, you know?

During the interview, she also talked about her problems with her husband, Former president, Barack Obama when he kicked off his political campaign. Trump suggested Obama was not born in the USA but on foreign soil - his father was Kenyan. Its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed. "'But it was also risky, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks". Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk. "And for this, I'd never forgive him", she writes.

She writes of being left alone to administer hormone shots to help hasten the IVF process. "I was, like, 'Dude, you're cute.' But in my mind, I was, like - Off limits".
