The Red Dead Redemption 2 online mode's beta starts today

Red Dead Online Beta Rollout Begins On November 27, 2018

Red Dead Online beta release date: Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer starts tomorrow for select players

Anyone who played Red Dead 2 on launch day (October 26). As previously revealed, legacy locations from Red Dead Redemption will also be visitable, too - most notably locations south of the border, in Mexico.

"Support for Red Dead Online Beta: Connecting to your game will let you use the Map in real time, where you can see other players live as well as your mission objections and other vital information".

Nearly exactly a month after the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2, the game's online mode is live. Will you be trying out the online mode this week?

We'll have an early impressions report as soon as we've had a decent go on it, but how long exactly the game is going to stay in beta is as much a mystery as anything at the moment. You'll be able to form a posse of up to eight players and do everything from hunting to robbing other gangs' hideouts.

US President Donald Trump blasts General Motors as it announces plant closures
The Detroit-based company's shares surged on the plan, which includes abandoning some of its slower-selling sedan models. But Trump warned his administration is now considering cutting all subsidies for GM, including for electric vehicles.

Red Dead Online-which I'm sure we will all be calling RDO soon enough-is "built from the ground up for the latest hardware" and "blends the classic multiplayer of the original Red Dead Redemption with the best of everything we have learned since then about creating deep multiplayer experiences", Rockstar said. If you haven't bought the game already, buy Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One now. The beta will open up on November 29th for anyone who played between October 26th-29th.

The initial days of the Red Dead Online beta are a stress test, and Rockstar is introducing players gradually up until Friday, where Red Dead Online will be available to all players.

Rockstar Games has added a Battle Royale mode to Red Dead Online called Make It Count, according to dataminers who have been poking around in the upcoming Wild West multiplayer suite (via VG247).

This particular version of Make It Count is set at "Saint Denis Plantation" and, if Grand Theft Auto Online is any indication, there will be other areas that house the experience. Users also note that you can't play card games, so you'll want to forget about cleaning up in a round of poker. What are you looking forward to most?
