Bethesda Offers 500 Atoms for Fallout 76 Bag Controversy

Bethesda’s $200 ‘Fallout 76’ collector’s edition isn’t what fans were promised

Bethesda Under Fire Again for Contents of the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition

The Power Armor Edition of Fallout 76, which costs $200, originally had a nylon bag instead of the canvas one advertised, which you can see below.

This time it's actually related to one of the game's edition which is The Power Armor edition. However, as the posts circulate through Reddit, Twitter and social media, the company has since updated their support page to address the issue.

Facepalm: It seems that when it comes to Fallout 76, Bethesda is struggling to get anything right. Suffice it to say, Bethesda's offer doesn't make things even in the eyes of many fans.

In a response to a refund request for falsely advertising the product, Bethesda's customer service department explained that the original version that was advertised was merely a prototype of the bag.

In another statement, Bethesda apologised over the incident and offered 500 Atoms of Fallout's in-game money as compensation.

At center stage was Argentine President Mauricio Macri, hosting this year's summit of G20 industrialized nations. The UK imports from Saudi Arabia amounted to some £3 billion with crude oil making up about half of the total.

The official Fallout subreddit isn't doing much better with this news; a post about the news titled "Bethesda thinks them misleading us is only worth 500 atoms" has well over 2.5K upvotes and is trending.

Firstly, Bethesda issued an apology regarding the goof-up, "We understand and respect that there is disappointment with the bag in the Power Armor Edition".

In the build up to Fallout 76, Bethesda announced a $200 "Power Armour" edition, featuring a Vault-Tec power armour helmet, what appeared to be a quality canvas bag, a physical world map, a steelbook case with the game and a few other goodies.

Unfortunately, due to unavailability of materials, we had to switch to a nylon carrying case in the Fallout 76: Power Armour Edition. Some gameplay elements will also be changing; the Stash limit will increase by 50% to 600, although Bethesda clarifies; "While this is somewhat conservative, we plan to increase the storage cap further once we verify that this change will not negatively impact the stability of the game". "They will assist in granting your account 500 Atoms". 500 Atoms are worth about $5 United States dollars. As VG247 mentioned, there's an in-game skin wearing the very same bag, and it costs 700 atoms.
