Pokemon GO PvP Trainer Battle Feature Will Arrive "Soon"

[Update: Teasers] Niantic bringing PvP to 'Pokémon GO' by year's end

‘Pokemon Go’ is finally getting trainer battles

Though Pokemon GO seemingly took over the world when it released, it launched missing a few core features from the Pokemon series.

There has been a vast array of new Pokemon being added in the past two and a half years that the game has been out, coupled with other features.

When Pokemon Go launched in the summer of 2016, it was missing numerous key features that define a Pokemon game. PvP Trainer Battles will be coming soon to Pokemon Go. "With Leagues in Trainer Battles, we hope to create a system that's accessible to many Trainers". For now, Niantic recommends players " the Pokemon in your Pokedex and [create] battle parties for each league".

Controversy as Tyson Fury v Deontay Wilder title bout ends in draw
Deontay Wilder also opened up on the controversial outcome of the fight, assuring that he feels he did enough to win. It was a great fight, so let's do it again.

A photo tweeted by Niantic depicting the flags for each trainer battle League.

For instance, Trainer Battles will feature three leagues - Great, Master and Ultra - with the main point of difference being the CP cap. The Great League will allow a cap fo 1500 CP per Pokemon, Ultra at 2500 CP per Pokemon and Master League has no cap limit.

There was no text to go along with the image so we're just left with speculation but it seems pretty clear cut what the team is teasing here. It'd make a lot of sense if Niantic were to transfer this battle style over to Pokemon Go as we've seen the formula works time and time again. However, there has not been a release date for when the patch will be out.
