The AMD Ryzen 3000 Series Mobile Processors range from the Athlon 3000U at 2 cores / 4 threads with a 15 Watt TDP and 3.3GHz boost clock speed all the way up to the Ryzen 7 3750H at 4 cores / 8 threads with 4.0GHz boost frequency (2.3GHz base) and a 35 Watt TDP. Each product family has a different class of laptops in its crosshairs. It won't be long before the company launches its 7-nanometer Zen 2 lineup for the desktop-it recently showed off a 64-core Zen 2 server CPU-though in the meantime, it's trotting out a new round of mobile Ryzen processors with Vega graphics. As you can see in the chart below, AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPUs are going to start from $99 and they can go up to $500.
AMD provides some "real world" figures for its top 15W processor, the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U. This one sports a 14-inch display with a 180-degree hinge, pretty much identical specs and 11 hours of battery life. AMD's new A4-9120C is compared with the former throughout internal testing, while the more premium A6-9220C is stacked against the latter.

The new model of the HP Chromebook 14 (via Digital Trends) will be available with either AMD's A4 or the A6 series of processors inside, along with either Radeon R4 or R5 GPUs.
