The C118 Mercedes-Benz CLA - which was inadvertently revealed yesterday - has now been officially unveiled, the all-new four-door coupe making its debut at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. To that end, the new CLA uses the latest iteration of the MBUX infotainment system, a twin 12-inch screen system that debuted on the A-Class at CES previous year.
The new CLA's body is almost 2 inches wider and longer than its predecessor, though the rear-seat leg room is almost identical to the outgoing model, which was already cramped.
As well as being able to make sense of your health data, and make changes accordingly, the new auto also has a brand-new Interior Assistant feature that responds to your gestures, as well as a new and improved version of the voice-controlled MBUX infotainment system.
This sportier CLA offers less headroom than the hatch due to a swoopy roof which dips forcefully from the C-pillars, ending at a slimmer boot that features an altered light cluster design.

The new CLA-Class's interior appears to be lifted right out of the A-Class, with two free-standing, monolithic screens for instrumentation and infotainment. Drag coefficient is 0.23.
Features new and most improved iteration of the MBUX and AI voice assistant. Low drag coefficient means better aerodynamics and that can make a vehicle go faster and more fuel efficient as well. "What's more, the voice assistance no longer gets confused by other passengers conversing". The showcased version is CLA 250 and is powered with turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine which is rated at 222hp and 350Nm of torque. Active Lane Change Assist is available too, while enhanced Active Brake Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist are fitted as standard.
The new CLA is larger than the outgoing model and surprisingly, even better looking too!
The updated MBUX Interior Assist also features interface through non-contact hand gestures.
The new CLA-Class will available with either front-or all-wheel-drive, and both come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The current CLA in India is priced between Rs 31.72 lakh to Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) but expect the new one to be introduced at higher price.
